“The Starry Night” embodies an inner, subjective expression of Van Gogh’s response to nature, and can be enjoyed in person at the Museum of Modern Art in New York

Van Gogh said “It is not the language of painters but the language of nature one should listen to…” Which inspired us to create this dark composition of Indian Assam, brightened by colorful starbursts of chamomile, hints of lavender and sunflower — the flora of Southern France where he depicted the view outside his sanatorium window in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
